Primary School Competitions

The fees for leagues and cups are calculated to match the costs of venues, referees and trophies/medals with as little carry over as possible. We will invoice schools individually when entry forms have been submitted.

How the leagues are organised:
1. Schools put in the North or South Divisions. There may be sub divisions depending on the number of entries; e.g. South Divisions A and B
2. All schools in the division meet at either Jeffery Humble (North) or Simpsons Hub (South) and play against the other schools in their division. There will be 3 or 4 of these meetings per season depending on the number of entries.

3. Typically means will at least 4 games at each meeting.
4. Dates will be sent out before the summer holidays
5. These take place on Fridays between 1pm and 3pm
6. Referees are provided by the LSFA
7. The highest placed Small, Intermediate and Large schools from each division will play off at the end of the season for the overall City Champions title. This will be held at a prestigious venue.

 

How our cups are organised:
1. Schools put in the North or South Sections.
2. Schools in each section meet at either Jeffery Humble (North) or Simpsons Hub (South) one Friday afternoon in the first half term between 1-3pm
3. Teams are in groups and qualify for knock out stages in their section. A minimum of 3 games per team.
4. There is a final on the day at each venue - North and South.
5. The winners on the day play a final against the winners of the other section later in the season; i.e. North winners v South winners

6. The overall winners will represent Liverpool in the National Schools Cup later in the season.
